- Scope of Service
To promote PPF scheme and to liaison between the investor and the
Post Office and authorized banks and Small Savings Offices/ Regional Director,
National Savings Offices and to render service at the door step of the investor.
- Eligibility Conditions
An adult / individual is eligible to become agent under this system.
He/She must be above 21 years of age and a matriculate. He/She must be a person
of integrity and bonafide resident of concerned district and also have wide
contacts to transact the agency business.
- Step by Step Procedure
Application forms are available with the regional Directore National savings,(GOI) NW Circle,Kendriya Sadan , Sector-9 , Chandigarh.
Following documents/formalities are to be completed
while submitting application to the district office :-
i. Application form.
ii. Agreement form.
iii. .Nomination form.
iv. Affidavit (to be attested by the First Class Magistrate) on stamp paper
of Rs.15/-.
v. Character certificate (Two).
vi. .Two passport size photographs.
vii. .Photocopy of SAS agency.
