aims to establish an effective interface between Government
to Citizen (G-C), maximize efficiency, transparency,
accountability, objectivity, affordability, friendliness,
convenience and accessibility for the overall benefit
of citizens, business and the Government.
punjabSewa offers
citizen services in a comprehensive manner. punjabSewa
provides information, procedures and application forms
for important and commonly sought services in all
areas including transport, municipalities, pensions,
revenue, certificates, licences, permissions, public
distribution, industry, electricity and various developmental
and financial schemes etc.
punjabSewa contains
all information regarding citizen services like scope
of service, department concerned, eligibility, procedure,
relevant forms required (in downloadable form), check
list of documents required to be attached with the
forms, time schedule for providing service at each
level, list of contact persons, grievance redressal
system being adopted.
The objective of punjabSewa
is to make information available to the citizens at
grassroot level through Internet & Information
Kiosks. The citizens will become aware about these
services, their procedures and time schedule which
will help them in quick and better access to information
and avail service from the Government. Moreover, the
Government want to serve the people in better manner
resulting in the citizens satisfaction. punjabSewa
will not only equip the citizens and Institutions
to uplift the socio-economic condition of the State
and Citizens but also educate the citizens about their
rights and duties.
